What is film flam?
Film Flam is a blog written by Bernard, and Mr. Film Guy focusing on cinema in all of its contemporary forms and permutations. Sure, you’ll find Hollywood film reviews, and the occasional thought piece on celebrities, but mostly what we’re into is Cinema, and our definition of is ever-changing.
Cinema comes in many forms nowadays. From the cut-scenes in video games, commercials, web series, music videos, it’s all around us. Expect us to cover as many as our little eyeballs can.
What film flam is not.
A news blog or a film review site. Nothing against those, we’re big fans of them. There’s plenty of them out there and some of them are really good, but what we’d like to focus on is film criticism; and for the sake of clarification let us state our definition of the word criticism.

The analysis and judgment of the merits and faults of a literary or artistic work …
We’re not interested in trashing or praising a movie without a little dissection as to our motivations. Sometimes things suck, sometimes they’re great, what’s fascinating to us what the two have in common.
